Discover Tiny Thai

If you're craving bold, vibrant flavors in the heart of Buffalo, look no further than Tiny Thai, located at 27 Chandler St Suite #212B, Buffalo, NY 14207. This quaint Thai restaurant offers an authentic taste of Thailand that packs a punch with every bite. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it’s a spot you’ll want to check out if you love flavorful dishes with a kick.

One of the first things you'll notice when you step into Tiny Thai is the cozy, intimate setting. It's not a huge, bustling space, but that's part of its charm. The small, yet inviting atmosphere feels just like you’re stepping into a traditional Thai eatery, where the focus is on delicious food and great service. You won't find an overwhelming menu here either. Instead, the selection is well-curated, featuring some of the most beloved Thai dishes that you can't miss.

For starters, their Pad Thai is a must-try. It’s perfectly balanced-tangy, sweet, and just the right amount of spice. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. If you're in the mood for something with a little more heat, the Green Curry is another crowd favorite. Made with a rich, aromatic blend of spices, it’s served with tender chicken, tofu, or your choice of meat. Pair it with some jasmine rice to soak up that flavorful sauce, and you'll understand why this dish has earned a spot on many local lists of must-try meals.

One of the standout features of Tiny Thai is their commitment to authenticity. Unlike many Thai restaurants that adjust their flavors for American tastes, this spot offers dishes that stay true to their roots. That means you’ll experience the vibrant, fresh ingredients that are central to Thai cuisine, from lemongrass and ginger to Thai basil and kaffir lime leaves. The spice level is also true to traditional Thai cooking, so don’t be afraid to ask for an extra kick if you can handle it.

Tiny Thai also caters to a variety of dietary needs, offering vegetarian and gluten-free options. Their Tom Yum Soup, for instance, is a fantastic choice for those who prefer plant-based dishes. The broth is packed with herbs and spices, giving it a zesty and aromatic profile that you’ll want to sip on all day long. It’s a great dish to enjoy on a chilly Buffalo day.

If you're looking for something a little different, their Thai Iced Tea is the perfect drink to complement your meal. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing, it balances out the heat of your spicy dishes. And for dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice is a delightful way to end your meal. The sweetness of the mango combined with the richness of coconut milk and the chewiness of sticky rice is a taste sensation.

What truly sets Tiny Thai apart, aside from its exceptional food, is the staff. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're ordering takeout or sitting down for a meal, you’ll feel welcomed and well taken care of. It’s a small, family-friendly restaurant that makes sure you’re not just a customer but a guest.

Another great thing about Tiny Thai is its convenient location. Situated just off the main roads, it’s an easy stop for anyone in the area. The restaurant offers both dine-in and takeout options, making it an ideal choice whether you're looking to enjoy a meal on the spot or take it home to savor later. Many regulars rave about the consistency of the food and the quality of the service, making it a reliable choice for any occasion.

When it comes to pricing, Tiny Thai offers great value for the quality of food you get. It's not overpriced like some trendy spots, yet you won’t feel like you’re compromising on flavor or freshness. You get what you pay for-a satisfying meal that leaves you wanting to return.

Overall, Tiny Thai in Buffalo is a standout when it comes to Thai cuisine. Its authentic flavors, intimate atmosphere, and exceptional service make it a place you won’t forget. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by and indulge in their mouth-watering dishes. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or someone just looking to try something new, Tiny Thai is worth the visit.

  • Amazing food and such a small, nice, cozy place, the food prepared in front just adds the homely feeling to it. We had chicken satay as a starter, which was so good in taste. They served it with 2 other dips that went perfectly with it and enjoyed the bites. I have Khao Soi, which was delicious, I had extra spice cause I like it spicy, lol, but they give you chili on the side and add as much you like. The spice was good from them, and the curry was coconut and slightly sweet but a lot of flavors just burst it feels. The noodles were some of my favorite like they had good thickness and taste. My friend had a Massamun curry which was not my favorite but was good still. The lavender lemonade is just too sweet for me, I do not have a sweet tooth so just not for me but was refreshing and nice.

  • One of the best things about Bangkok is you can pick most any random hole in the wall place and they will give you amazing food. That’s how I felt when I stumbled upon Tiny Thai. Absolutely amazing and authentic flavors. The mango sticky rice made me think of faraway places I used to call home. All the praise from the other reviews is truly well deserved. Well done!

  • I visited Tiny Thai today after seeing the restaurant be featured on the news. I was hopeful for a positive dining experience and was not disappointed! The owner was gracious and welcoming. I loved the open layout and clean, organized kitchen. I had the drunken noodles and I was impressed by the fresh vegetables that were slightly charred. The sauce was not overpowering, it was well balanced. The presentation was beautiful and I highly recommend Tiny Thai. I also visited Flat 12 mushroom store and grabbed bagels from Logan's Bagels. What a cool space for all the businesses!

  • Everything was phenomenal! We had the peach lemonade and Thai ice tea to drink and they were both amazing. The chicken pad Thai and chicken drunken noodle dishes were some of the best we ever had. Such a cute environment and the staff was sweet and attentive.

  • This meal was genuinely life changing. I had the privilege of tasting most the items on the menu, and the Massaman curry (not pictured) was one of my favorite dishes - the cloves and cinnamon brought a warm spiced taste that was so comforting. The gaiyang chicken was absolutely to die for, quite literally the best chicken I have had in my life. Chef Kae is extremely talented, if you have the chance to experience her cooking you won’t regret it!
